I had heard about the movie prior to it’s release because we’ve been doing the vegetarian and occasionally vegan diets for over a year now. The community is incredibly supportive. I used to eat red meat a few times a week but some animal products everyday. I really enjoyed that so it’s not like I changed my diet because I don’t like meat. I have to tell you from my experience, I feel much better than I did before. I occasionally slip and eat some meat and my body quickly reminds me that I don’t need it. I feel better, sleep much better, more energy and lots of other benefits too. If you’re considering it, let’s talk about it. It’s actually a lot easier to change to a plant based diet than people think. I’m sure that since it’s gaining ground it’ll get even easier as time goes.

Ditto, Im in physically good shape but my blood pressure has been in the high diastolic numbers lately....probably from those 5 years I worked at the meat market as a kid and ate red meat every day. So much free tri-tip...

I'm sticking to the traditional "eat less move more". Not even really restricting my diet as I eat junk but in lesser quantities. I skip the fries for a salad or grilled veggies instead if I get a burger at a restaurant...blah blah

I used to be militant about counting calories and it worked for a long time but for the wrong reasons.

Learning to actually listen to when I am hungry or just trying to comfort eat ETC has been the key. I grew up with a super fucked mindset around food. As young as 8 my mom put me on diet shakes and always made a big deal about avoiding "fatty" foods. I grew up with the mentality that if we went out or I was at an event/friends house with "forbidden" foods I had to eat as much as possible so I wouldn't be "missing out" on anything. It's been a lot of work to undo that mindset

Well yeah the FEQ one has been a champ for a long time now, I mean the pep boys axle that's on the other side. This was it's first 4wd trip

That one I expect will grenade sooner or later, the FEQ ones I'm convinced are decent axles
