it got a lot worse. It had only been burning about 10 minutes when we flew past. Practically filled all the space between C and D that you use to fly into VBT. Supposedly could be seen at the Bobby Hopper tunnel 50 miles away. A styrofoam and plastics manufacturer.

Sweet pic, by Mike Luedey, @YDPPhoto a CF-188 of the Canadian demo team. This photographer is one of few that gets access to the RCAF, often along on flights. YellowDrumProductions.com

Love it...gotta say, our pilots really do punch above their weight considering the outdated equipment they fly. I know the Germans were sad to see the Canadians go when we pulled out of Lahr W. Germany. They always said they really learned how to fly when they had a Canadian on their six during excercises...sorry, I'm just proud :canada:

300 OVC and 1 mile vis. Picked up the runway right at minimums. Heart pounding first time in to Teterboro! I’ve never seen so many private jets in one place before. This is insane!

That picture makes me miss working the ramp.

Then I remember getting bitched at by pilots because I brought them 2 bags of ice when they only wanted 1.5 bags and I'm glad I'm no longer doing that LOL!

Remember if you want good service, give a $20 to the first line guy you see and you will get whatever you want!

I don't know how its so hard to grasp the concept of not being a dick to the people who service your stuff. Not just in aviation either.

Yup! I will forever be cool to service level employees after working in that biz for 8yrs

A solid 50% of corporate pilots were assholes to the ramp crew. The VVIPs and their entourages were way easier to deal with than the crew's by far.

I never had a problem with corporate pilots unless they were flying for a big company like NetJets or FlexJet. Those guys seemed to be in a bad mood a lot but most 91 and smaller 135 pilots were usually happy
