18" kit is gonna make it wide. Not sure if that's gonna be too wide for the trails you hit ?

So you're saying my track width is gonna be extended? Would that mean I have to get an extended cv shaft as well?

Yes. If you buy the solo kit you have to buy their cv axles. Gonna cost like 6k at least

Yeah I'll just keep it stock lol. I just broke the bank and ordered an Icon stage 5 kit/bump stop kit and Total Chaos stock length LCAs.

So I finally got this thing tuned
Toyota screwed me big on the tune. It never ran properly. Dyno showed the truth of what they sent me home with. Although it never threw a close any more I was pulling 183hp and 176ft lbs . And it fell to 150hp. Dog shit.
Hp tuner just released a update that allows the 2015 stock ecu to be unlocked and tuned. Turbo joe got me tuned now. Pull 297hp and 230ft lbs of torque.

God the tuning has lit the fire. Fuck man I am so damn happy. Now I have to remove the cats because the poor condition it was running in has murdered them. It smells like spent ammo on the dyno.

Still on the same ole set up. Sold nothing, changed nothing, been working, moving, having kids, buying houses...

Gonna get back into it now that I got her running good and things are slowing down a bit.

Disregard the rpm. It's not correct. Rev limit is at 6k.

have you looked at downsizing your tire and getting a lighter weight wheel to get better performance out of that SC?

First off, what the hell kind've "dyno" is that? Secondly, you're making less torque than a stock 4.0??

    That's at the wheel. Add 30% for drivetrain loss 231*1.3 = 300

Yeah,I get that. Also, his dyno graph is showing the hp achieved at 7000rpm? Is that even doable for the 4.0? Something seems amiss here.

Yea u didnt read to disregard the rpm he told me it's not accurate. It may have been cause we did my wheel size calculation after the tune to fix the speedo. Torque is what it is. I'm sick of sitting trying to explain it to everyone. Fuck I dont read pages but I atleast read the paragraph I'm pulling quotes from. It's a tune a trd charger with zero mods. Not even air intake.

Looks like they didn't even start the pull until 4000 rpm (relative to the rest of the curve), most likely in 4th. Lay the power down slowly instead of punching it.

So down size wheel but not the tire? I just wanted to get it running right before I modified it. It never ran correctly now it does. Improvement can be made now and see results, not before.
    Its 60k dyno setup.

really depends on what you plan to do with the truck, but as far as performance goes a lightweight 16" rim plus good tire (that is also as light as you can get it) is the biggest upgrade you can do in terms of utilizing that SC

I dont know if I care that much. I plan to do more for cooling intake air temps and fuel more before anything else
