I don't get into personal/anecdotal data. You can dissect the axle and see the inferior quality. But it may still perform to your expectations based on how you use it. And if so, that's great. I just discourage people to have oem type expectations on Chinese parts that cost 20% of the high quality oem. No surprises that's all. Understand the risks/benefits of choice you make and send it, right?

I ran the parts house CV carrying (3! spares) expecting the actual birf to blow up, not a shit casting in the axle shaft itself

To add to it I could use 30-06 cases to make both cases. Then even the headstamps would be the same haha.

That too is also similar. 43 grains of powder in one vs 44 in the other. The overall length is only .07 different between the two. 180 grain bullet in one, 200 in the other.

Bullet weight won't make a difference. Powder load could but I don't think by a grain. But the rest is what worries me

Dude, that guy is funny but he is smart af too. Dude knows his stuff. Funny that he couldn't recommend the cheap knockoff on the basis of stealing the makita name:rofl:
and then he tells it like it is....but if it wasn't a ripoff of Makita design he'd recommend it.
Chinese power tools have come a loooong way.

Fun fact, the Japanese captured a good amount of M1 rifles in 30-06. They too wanted a semi auto service rifle so they put a chamber plug in and fired their 7.7 round in our .308 barrels. The difference is 4 thousands of an inch thereabouts so it worked relatively OK for battle. But they had an issue with the shorter round feeding from an enbloc clip so they scrapped the idea. Instead they ripped off the design entirely with this gem.

Well I'm looking at it like firing a 556 in a 223 barrel. You might fire 1000 rounds no problem. But eventually you will get a catastrophic failure.
