Yeah but that one was pretty damn bad. The ball was still a good 6 to 8 feet from him when the defender wrapped him up with BOTH arms. That was a pretty obvious PI call.

Yeah I think that some of them that are built in India or China haven't held up as well for people. Mine has been solid in its limited use.

I do have a HST. But it also has L M H. So sometimes when I'm done in Low and want to drive on the road in High, it can take a little rocking on the pedal to loosen it up to shift is all. It's never NOT shifted, just takes a little sweet talk sometimes. I have found that its getting better and better as I get more hours on it, so maybe just needed to break in.

    Probably. No manual clutch?

There are two break pedals that are linked together that when pressed together work as a clutch. If you separate them they brake each side independently I think? I've never tried.

Anyways, I use it as the clutch, but there is still a little stick sometimes. I really think the linkage just comes a little tight and needs to loosen a bit or what have you. Some guys spray the linkage with oil and that helps. Its not been an issue for me and is improving over time so I've basically learned how to use it how it is.

That's odd. Every HST tractor I've driven has had an actual manual clutch pedal. Probably right, it probably has an automatic clutch that will smooth up a bit as you use it.

I don't know if I'm explaining it correctly. But the dual brake pedal thing is also the clutch. So you push that in for everything you would normally use a clutch for.

At least that's how I've been using it :anonymous:

Right, I get what you're saying. But every HST tractor I've used (so far) has had a clutch pedal on the left, and HST and independent brake pedals on the right. Not having that clutch pedal would take some getting used to (along with having the brakes on the left, from what I've been reading about Mahindras)

I'll maybe grab a picture tomorrow of the set up if it stops raining here! I haven't ever used the brake outside of using it as a clutch or pushing it in to set the parking brake. With the HST I find just taking my foot off the forward pedal does the trick.

Yeah, the only time it wouldn't really would be if you had a heavy load on a trailer behind you or something. Although you do always want to set the brake whenever you climb off, obviously. Mine will inch forward if you stop it on a downhill while it's running, unless you set the brake

So today I did a power slide into the driveway. I did it a lot last year with no issue.

This time my truck freaked out, turned off and tranny over heat and a few other lights flashed on for a second.

Started right back up no problems. But why did that happen?

I feel your pain. I have a hard time watching the game at bars cause I can't control myself. My wife hates that she cant watch it with me cause I go nuts and she has bad anxiety... :(

I wish I wasn't so into sports... I definitely lost years of my life because of it.

I get the truck freaking out, but turning off and the transmission overheating is nothing I've ever seen related to a power slide (otherwise, I'd be living with running overheated damn near all winter). The computer freak out makes sense, but the rest of it sounds like a pretty big problem.

So, been running the tune for a week. I am no longer threatening to trade it for a manual, and trade her Charger for a 4runner.
This is how this truck shouldve come from the factory. Nimble. Responsive.

AND, who is it that had the Billy 6112s? @m603holden or @crashngiggles ?

Im toying with full coil-over... but, reality is I wont push it that hard. And I want to keep the current start and go, no worries reliability....
That is what got me in trouble with my Jeep...

Probably keep 265s for the long term, just a little more room underneath, and load carrying

It's amazing what a tune can do for a vehicle. And, on the flip side, disappointing that the manufacturers don't offer anything of the sort as an option even. You can customize every other damn part of the car, but the engine and transmission mapping is just 'one-size-fits-all'. Some of the 'modes' help a little, but nothing like custom tunes.
