I doubt it; unless you're ok with watermelon sized targets at 100 yards...then any barrel is capable of that.

 

Oh I know all about kac. Been to their HQ in Vero Beach Florida where my grandparents lived. You needed to pass a background check just to walk in the place. Cool store though.

 

Kreiger ftmfw. Best AR barrel money can buy.

My dad has a kreiger on his build. Has no problems holding the 10 ring on an F-class target at 1000 yards. Damn fine for a .223 wylde.

Im stuck with the Mega Arms barrel I put on my build. Never been overly pleased with it. May switch to a LaRue one of these days.

 

Holy hell buy a Kreiger with that kind of money and be far happier.

 

Speaking of...Black Hole Weaponry has surprised me with their barrels as well.

You either know them very well, or not at all.

I think I have an extra 16" stainless steel barrel in my storage with Mod-H profile for when I was going to make another MK12 clone.

If you scroll back to my KAC rifle pic, you'll see the MK12 Mod 0 clone; that uses a Douglas barrel and I've taken that thing out to over 800 yards easily with 75gr.

 

I could do what you do with my 22 mag keltec pistol

It’s a fckn shooter, lived in my back pack for 3 years and still cycles fine.

Yeah I wouldnt give $850 for some no name POS company that Ive never heard of before.

I have a Black hole on my XM177 cloneish build. Damn fine for a 12.5" barrel haha. Out to 300 its a great shooting gun.

Criterion is another good one. Actually the first choice of many for M1 barrels. Douglas too.

 

The bottom one is as true of an MK12 Mod 0 clone as I can get in CA (everything but the lower receiver is clone-correct), and it is stupid accurate.

The one above it is an MK12 Mod Holland, and the BHW barrel was supposed to go into that rifle.

Anyway, the target below is a hand load, 5 shots, at 100 yards.

 

I've shot a dracos and it dissipates heat like crazy. Buddy shot 30 rounds of 556 and stuck his finger in the chamber. Didn't burn him.
