Had to ditch the roof rack/lights to be able to fit into the garage at work. DD problems.

Probably about the same. Some different obstacles to overcome, but not bad overall.

LOL. I can only use 1 entrance and go a specific route within deck at work due to roofrack. And that's on 285s with 2" lift.

I must be spoiled by the first gen’s short door sill to roofline measurement. My Tacoma with 1-3/4” exo, no tools or gear, is shorter than my stock 2000 F250. 6’6” vs 6’7”

What's the easiest way to run wire in a soffit where I don't have attic access? I want to add a flood light on soffit off back porch but porch has vinyl ceilings and soffit which is not open to rest of house attic. All my other floods are mounted on house soffit with wiring routed through the attic. I want to branch off a line and somehow get from attic to porch.

Side note for you EHS punks: Flood circuit was originally wired for halogens. I've changed over to LED floods so added load of a new light to the circuit is not a concern.

Pull the vinyl ceiling apart and run in there. Vinyl just pulls apart with a hook tool. I would do it when it’s warm though. As for getting to the attic you could go up the exterior wall by drilling the wall board and then go to the attic and pull it up there. Without a picture it’s hard to figure out.

LOL my welder is wired with romex strung across my crawl space (not allowed here) and spliced into my washer/drier box. My caring about EHS ends when I'm off the clock lol!!

And typical engineer, cant figure out how to run some wires through soffit!:D

    Yep.

I could figure it out but like to ask for ideas before I overcomplicate the job.
(Since overcomplicating simple jobs is also "typical engineer".)

Hahaha I should have paid attention in math class then, I overcomplicate everything, I would have been a good engineer!

I forgot how much of a electrical fire hazard your entire house is! :D

Also, most of the engineers I race with are the fucking worst. They spend most of their time theorizing what a setup change will do, then arguing with their engineer friends about why one theory is right or wrong, instead of just making the change and seeing what it does first hand.

Nah it's just the welder. I dont like messing with electricity, so it's mostly stock in my crib. The only other issues I have are from the previous owner fucking with some stuff.

I would put it at a 3 out of 10 on the fire hazard scale.

Actually now that I've removed the entire aux battery system my truck is probably a 2/10.

Oh for sure! My truck is an electrical mess, I'm good though I have a 2.5lb fire extinguisher in the the bed LOL! my biggest fear is one of my ps lines bursting or leaking and spraying all over my exhaust manifold. I really need to make an inner fender and a heat shield/spray guard.
