    **Put on creative thinking cap**

So I went wire by wire this morning through the EWD's, and a 2009-2011 ECU is a direct swap for 2012+ trucks. All wiring is identical with the exception of the added pins for the 2012+ SAI system. Simply put, the 2009-2011 ECU's aren't looking at and are not coded for the SAI operation.

I am purchasing a 2011 ECU and will proof the procedure on my 2015

Idles fantastic. No better or worse than it did stock.

Ideally, yes, you're understanding is spot on. You'd not want to run the TRD Injectors on a stock truck. I have pinged around some ideas that I've not made public, but I've had plans to do a few things that I've not seen/heard anyone do before which necessitated more fuel than the stock 320cc/min injectors. Unfortunately things stalled for one reason or another (most notably the wife and I purchasing a new home).

I don't advocate any of the N/A guys try and fit the TRD injectors unless you've opened your motor and replaced things other than cam gears. ;)

But yes, the truck runs great. Gets pretty good mileage too, better than stock.

    ^^^THIS^^^!!!!!!!!!

I am just catching up with all this and had already begun my rebuttal, thankfully @Norton tastefully replied to what might have been a much more aggressive response from me.

@planesane, FYI, most here are very knowledgeable, been here for a long time, and know approximately how much improvement can be had with each mod. Of course some are more knowledgeable than others but I know I have taught/explained how many of these systems work in harmony together and I have also pooled from this VAST resource of people here with MANY questions of my own. Every single response I have ever had from others have been forthright and honest!!!

The bottom line is......there are a LOT of people here that know their sh*$ and I don't know a single member in this thread that is here to troll so my advice to you would be to relax a bit and listen to what EVERYONE here has been telling you!!!

This community is like a virtual family to me so I DO take offense when someone questions my "family". We are all here to help each other which we have done for quite awhile now (years). You are more than welcome to our community/family, but your attitude toward all those that are trying to help MUST change or you will not be welcomed here. The choice is yours.

X3 highly agreed with both you guys. I am sort of catching up as well and am surprised to see what the hell happened here.

@planesane you really need to watch the way you talk to folks on here. Our boosted group has been a pretty tight knit family for easily the last two years and while we have all had our little squabbles and pickles here and there it's all for the greater interest of go fast and spreading of knowledge and has all been done in a humble fashion with the understanding that we all have a general knowledge in the subject matter.

Numbers are a discussed topic but the general consensus is that they do not mean crap and no one here gets into dick measuring contests over numbers because we all understand that there are too many factors which affects output, including weather changes.

If you come in here with attitude and are rude to us you will not be welcomed, and your questions will go unanswered. All of the guys here have something to contribute and they all mean well. If anyone goes into my supercharger thread with a disrespectful attitude I will personally see to it that a moderator comes in to remove them from the thread.

You have my warning, now play nice, because there is a lot you can learn here and all of the guys here are a lot of fun.
