Truck Huntin

It looks good it's defiantly a good price for the area.

 

Too bad I'm 6 hours north of san jose...can't travel too far till after fire season, go test drive her for me! lol

 

$14,400 seems pretty high to me. Is it the fact that its a 4 door and only has 109,xxx miles?

 

that is a steal compared to here in hawaii....

 

Thats crazy. Im thinking its the fact that those 4 door first gens are kinda rare.

 

good looking truck, but that seems like a lot considering the mileage on it. or at least around here anyway

 

the 1st gens are in such high demand over here its nawts.

 

hell around here they go for more with more miles.

Looks like it's in great condition. I'd check blue book on it of course.

FYI, it's definitely been lifted. Bed liner looks like a pro job, no finish inconsistencies like you usually get with home jobs. The marker lights and headlights have either been replaced or professionally polished. Rims look to be 16's with a 32" tire, hard to tell exactly from a pic. Still, I'd take a good look at any Tacoma around 100k. There are a good number of components that are designed to wear out at about that point. At 109, they may have been replaced already. Then again, maybe not.

Blue book says $15,500...assuming "excellent condition."

 

How about a list of the good number of components that are designed to wear out at about that point (1ook miles) other than the timing belt and wear items like brakes?

 

that one in the original post looks good, and for my area that's a pretty good price also. I'd do it if I was going to buy a tacoma.

 

THAT IS MAZDA FIBERGLASS ON THE FRONT OF THAT. IT LOOKS STUPID.

 

To the OP: that truck looks a bit expensive...I'm sure you could find cheaper.

Also its transmission is broken...it appears to shift automatically instead of at the command of the driver
