    Guess what?

Maybe your thread is having an impact on the management of this forum

This useless thread was a sticky until very recently:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/exhaust-power-speed.592502/

Maybe a cleanup is being done?

I agree with you by the way, and probably others too.

    Thanks.

    Exhaust power speed!

The thread that made me question what is in the Stickies.

Then I seen the one on - Black Gen 3 Taco's and wondered - WTH?????

If someone wants to see what a decent set up for a forum layout - Check out the FJR Forum. https://www.fjrforum.com/

It is not perfect but at least it will help one looking for information.

If Toyota put Tacos together like the current layout of this forum you would find the exhaust coming out the defrost vent and the engine where the gas tank is.

Really dood? Don't come in here with less than 60 days and 12 posts and start trashing your hosts. That's like accepting a meal invitation and complaining the turkey is too dry.

    Not cool

    Are you sure?

I remember about a year ago, there was a thread by somebody's sister?

The title included the words "dumpster fire".

It was like a huge joke.

It became a sticky thread in the 3rd gen forum.

It also unleashed the kraken of the dumpster fire crews.

    So much fucking fun...(sarcasm)

    Like there isn't some agenda...lol

There was 3 related threads as I recall that all got super meged. Then it turned to a proper D-fire, then @DeltaBravo and @Crow_of_judgement got banned like a buncha times. But the D-fire crew still lives on. We just lurk in the shadows, waiting for the next conflagration.

Didn't @Crow_of_judgement get a seven day ban for telling a brand new female member who was pregnant and asking for advice on how to work a child seat in her access cab to get an abortion?

So freaking funny, you dumpster fire guys....(sarcasm)

    RIP @Crow_of_judgement...

    What a fucking joke...

The metric I pay the most attention to is the ratio of likes to post counts. If its more than 2:1, either that person is really helpful or they spam the threads with a bunch of wacky shit.

The "likes" ratio is a very good tool of measurement.
Well of course I did. It was getting through the playthora of nonsense in the stickies that was frustrating.

Again. Why I asked the question. Why so many stickies....???????

Not so sure I agree about the ratio method, I don't necessarily "like" everything I read, not very scientific.

It's a good first metric. You are about 2:1 on likes/posts. I have 5400 posts to 13000 likes, close to 3:1. Does that mean I am better than you? Absolutely not, not at all. But if you look at someone else and their ratio is like 0.2/1, then you know the stuff they post is either A) Not helpful or B) They are complainers and not helpful.

The best metric is when you read a few of a person's posts. It does not take long to determine the fullofshit or not factor.

I answered you on the first page man. Stickies are to help people.... or, like this one, humorous. I think it's hilarious that they stickied this thread.
