The 4Runner limited seats

Still glad i bought a Taco. I may have to remove the seat air bag assembly and install it in the 4Runner seat. I found a really good shop who can do the wiring. He is contacting toyota to see what issues well. Have to be fixed to wire the seats in. I noticed in driving it with the 4Runner seats that i sat higher than i did with the stock seat with the seat lift bracket. I well keep you posted

 

Tired. Stock seat air bag and stock seat belt assembly.

 

What’s the issue with the airbag compatability? I know when I installed FRS seats in my 2nd gen Tacoma all I had to do was swap the Tacoma airbag connectors over to the FRS SRS cable and all was fine.

 

And that may be true with this swap, won’t know until Toyota tech gets back with the info.

Any updates on the installation?

 

Very bad time of the year to get anything done. I found a shop who specializes in Electronics and is getting a map from Toyota for my truck. Worst case well be to exchange the seat air bags and the pressure plate in the bottom seat from the stock seats and then just wire in the power seat. May not be able to wire the heated seat in. Fuck that, I would have just traded the 2019 for a 2020 if you wanted power seats that bad.

 

Heated, cooled and a better seat is what he wanted. When (if) it gets done I'll like his way better than a trade up.

 

It’s the same seat used in the 2020 Tacoma. And they aren’t cooled.

Yea, the Tacoma seat is 10 way adjustable. The 4runner is only 8 way. Big fucking deal.

The 4 runner limited is better leather and ventilated. It's not like the 2020 at all. The big fucking deal is you don't know what you're talking about.
