I haven't done it and I suck at soldering (lack o experiance lol) but, I'm interested in helping to rip a dash apart. I have the FSM manual and haynes also. Again haven't done it but... I've taken dashes out before in other vehicles lol.

Yea I debated that at one point but I grew to like it. For me at least, it's actually very easy on the eyes at night and still a bit angry. I was going to do blue in the 280 (still probably will) but the orange is kinda taunting me there too lol.

    Patrick,

Andrew just ordered 3000k fogs From me to replace his 5000k's, curious to see what they look like. That was the other color I was debating on trying out.

Curious too... I really kinda like that turquoise-ish look though. The 3k's should be more functional as a fog though... not that we need it here lol. I still think I'm going to run 6k on my truck eventually though

Yea I'd just be afraid of burning the PCB on soldering myself. In theory it's pretty simple, practice... I fail lol.

i love the look of my 8's. i know people say that high is ricer status but it looks good to me, but yeah my 4.5's seem to look pure white but on the road it has a yellowish output which would be decent in fog, which is why i want hella lights behind my grill for going up north and stuff

Yeah I like that look too, but the 3000's should do better in fog like you said. I will have him post pics once he gets them put in. I will have him get pics after he changes one so you guys can see the difference.

So I need to figure out my switches for lights. I'm thinking about putting a row of them driver's side of the mirror along the headliner and windshield... then I can run wiring down the a pillar(s). If I can find clean switches it should be clean, out of the way, completely reversible... ideas?
