Man the atmosphere there was incredible. My Dad was happy to see it live as well.

 

I’m going to have to put this in my bucket list.

 

I've been to a UFC event in Los Angeles at the Staples Center, and it's a little strange because you're very used to hearing the commentators during the fights on TV.
They were selling small earphones that you could tune into UFC channel to hear the commentators during the main card for $20.
BTW, the fight I saw was a few years back when Machida dropped Ryan Bader...

That’s what I’ve been saying. I think it’s going to be one of the best fight of the year.

X2. I think he takes Usman to deep water, gasses him, and really peppers him late.

 

I’ve got Colby winning this one I think. If he can keep that pressure and wear on Usman I think he just might walk away the champ.

I couldn't agree more, this is an incredible matchup and has the makings to be an amazing fight!!

As long as Covington can keep the pressure like he did against Lawler, he wins this one. Considering a very high percentage of the damage he inflicts on an opponent is done from the feet, while Usman's damage is predominantly inflicted from a dominant ground position. I think Covington's take down defense will keep this on the feet. If I'm wrong, I'll admit it, but I don't think I am.
Colby wins this one, and the interwebs collectively loses their mind though. His trash talk does not bother me, because I believe it's a schtick for him, but I don't think the UFC is ready to have a champion who is this 'much'. Does that make sense?

What about the other big fights on the card?

Holloway V Volkanovski
Nunes V De Randamie

I have a hard time picking against Holloway, but Volkanovski is a killer. Toss up in my eyes. If De Randamie can keep the Nunes on her feet, I think she has a strong chance of winning this one.
