That sucks. You did LG right? Not offbrand really at all. Oh, unless you did like the lower line one. I think all the phone makers do one that's like 150-300 bucks depending on camera stuff. I did the Moto one, the G6. And it's been good though. Sounds like you have the LG one?
That sucks. Dude. It's really freaking frustrating to have a phone not working right.

Our office has a life sized wax figure of the late great Robin Williams in the corner from the wax museum across the street.

One of the workers took him out on a dolly to do “repairs” or so I’ve been told. Few days pass by and he’s back.

We’re about to close when a homeless guy walks in and starts talking to Robin saying how much “I’ve missed you” and “it’s been too long, old friend.” “I hope you’ve been doing good.” saying it as if he was real.

Yeah I got the new LG Stylo 5, it was 'only' about $300 but that's on the low end for new smart phones. The processor in it is weak and the camera blows. I shoulda done more research and spent more on a Pixel phone tbh. My last phone was an LG but a higher end model and it was great except after a few years the battery wouldn't hold a charge anymore. Had a better camera and faster processor on it than this one

No offense but I figured you'd have Apple phone and computer being an artist and stuff. And I'm definitely not an apple guy but I can admit I've never heard anyone say they hated their iPhone before. Usually everyone has a hard on over em. Enough to keep me far away lmao

No offense taken lol, I use Apple computers and laptops exclusively for photography stuff. But for phones I've always been an Android guy...iPhones are too pricey for how fragile they seem to be and Android makes bigger phones, I can't stand how small my wife's iPhone is. Though I think they do make a bigger version too

I figured we were cool enough through all these years right?! But yeah you never know, so a lil disclaimer lol and in my old age definitely don't want to battle the apple lemmings:D:rofl:
It's funny, sounds just like you're a little more rational and not impulsive with your wants....
We got a lot of really good dudes around here man. It's awesome

But back to the good stuff. What are you thinking on replacement? The good LG one? Or gonna try the pixel you mentioned? That pixel one looks really freaking good at least

Probably gonna do the Pixel eventually. I'll hold out with this one through the end of the year at least.

Yeah I'm not a die hard Apple fan like some people on here *coughTylercough* lol
But because my school had all Apple computers thats what I learned my editing software on so it was just easier to stick with them as far as that stuff goes. Plus the majority of this industry uses Apple and it makes it easier to land gigs when you know the ins and outs of Apple based software and programs in the photo industry.

I have a Pixel 3 and like it for the most part. Been running Google phones for some time now. But - and I can't believe I'm going to say this - next phone is most likely going to be an iPhone.

Screw google and their constant monitoring. Google started off as a 'do no evil' company. Yeah, no longer. "OK GOOGLE" hot word only... yeah, RIGHT. Damn assistant chimes in out of nowhere all the time now.

Yeah I feel like it's hard to escape Big Brother no matter what you do when it comes to smart phones and pretty much every other kind of technology we use these days. But I swear everyone I know with an iphone has a busted screen or is always complaining about forced updates etc. With the outdoor stuff I do I can't have a fragile phone...I've only cracked one Android phone screen out of the 4 or so Android phones I've had

I mean I can disable Google's Assistant on my phone (I have) but it just sucks it has to always chime in when I'm not asking it something. Hell, its even responded to my kid and neither one of us has said anything remotely close to OK GOOGLE. lol

With the Pixel 3, I've had it fly off the top of the camry when I forgot about it. Screen wasted so replaced under warranty. Replacement has a small crack I noticed the other day. Have no idea how it happened. The most durable phones I have ever owned have been Samsung Galaxy series phones. Damn solid builds.

My galaxy 5 I had for almost 4 years. Battery was removable so replaced it twice. There are no phones with removable batteries anymore

Riverside tonight and tomorrow. Going to go hiking tomorrow, run to the airport to get her parents, go to the air bnb in la and just fuck around in la for Thursday. Her graduation is Friday. Saturday sounds like a last minute trip to the condo her aunt has in San Diego then fly out late Sunday
