Just put an ARE Z series on my pro. I don't notice any sagging.

One way to stay out of the rabbit hole of mods is to just add super springs. I did that and things went fine with my Leer 180 shell, I was using for work and hauled 400-600 lbs in the camper shell every week. Yrs later after some overall wear on the oem system I went to better suspension with a Rancho Quicklift and 9000 shocks, since I tow a 17 ft travel trailer too, several times a yr. This really improved handling a lot, especially when towing. I just set the supersprings to the second higher load setting when I did the Quicklift suspension, that gave me level again, in the back.

Here’s a Snugtop CabHi. With the tent mounted it squatted about 3/4” but the bump stops were getting a workout. Sumo springs are on there now

Had my ARE v series with windows and a front slider for like a month and I've seen an inch of sag. Looks like shit imo, currently shopping for the right leaf pack....suggestions? Wheelers progressive AAL seems most common

IMG_E3791.jpg update on my capper. Pretty happy with it overall. There are a few things I don't like however. After a rain opening the windoors leads to water running inside. The color match is not quite right(its darker than truck) overall fit and finish does not match the price. the inside light only works if the headlights are on. Thats just dumb in my opinion it should have been wired to turn on from the switch in the capper. having to remember to leave lights on then back track to cab to turn them off is stupid.

sounds like the dealer of the cap wired it wrong. I have mine wired where if the truck is off the LED light still works.

I'm looking at getting a Leer 180 but just discovered a different rear glass pane is used so adding an actuator to unlock it with the fob is not possible. I like the space and profile of something like the 180 but it's hard not to treat the different locking mechanism as a deal breaker.

I think the ARE MX is of a similar profile but I've seen less than savory things about the company. I'd love to get some feedback from you fine TW folk.

The esi seal was bought off Amazon. The foam squares came with the hardware bag with the cap. I got the hardware bag complete because I did not have them do the install. The third to last photo in the post you quoted is a picture of the instructions for the foam squares which also lists the part number- you’ll have to do the leg work but i made it easier to find.
