My son, the computer systems analyst, sent me this a while back:
    68A56211-458A-4B90-A430-FAFF86FBCA93.jpg

So no, I don't. This phone scares me enough. :tinfoilhat:

EDIT: The garage door opener we just upgraded to is capable, but wife and I agreed to not turn it on.

I know, I know; just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not REALLY out to get you. :)

I work in tech too. I don't worry about the known, intentional, privacy compromises we're making with our "smart" doodads. They're literally nothing compared to what is actually possible, and actually being done, out there in the world.

It's a wave. I choose to ride it.

I use a smartphone/(leash), but am limited in the apps I use. I also turn them off when I do not need them.

Anyone talk with someone about something and the next time you are on the search engine or another website ... that item pops up?
I have, recently Yes, they do hear you.

Just knocked over hanging ice and snow off my rooves/roofs? Been mostly raining the last day, at least no snow to shovel today.
Except for buying old lanterns and some snow blower shear pins, only bought some socks and a pair of jeans online this weekend.

    Whoop, whoop!
Local community college won the state championship in volleyball for community colleges. Feather River College. Don't follow them, but check the local college to see how they do in sports.

    Morning all.
Little injury update. Went to a hand specialest last Monday. He said I'll live.
Stiches are supposed to come out this Friday. It's been really aggravating especially when I bump or bang it accidentally!!
On another note, I took my wife shopping yesterday. We saw Santa at one store. There was no one with him so we walked in and I shook his hand and thanked him for what he's doing.
He put out his hand to shake and I put out my left hand...he looked at my right hand and said did your wife (who was right by my side) do this.
Yes, yes she did. He said Ohhh, you're on the naughty list. We both had a good laugh over that!!

Morning all:hattip:. Sitting in the parking lot waiting to go in for PT. It's been almost 4 months and the back issues still there. Time to get an MRI and move on. Hope everyone has a good one.

I've used Chiropractors for years, temp fix if that much. Works mostly if I can't walk sorta straight up, so allows me to walk better. Some hard labor helps, maybe making the muscles loosen up.
