Don't sell yourself short. I'm often amazed by what passes as normal or adequate.

When it warms up again, geese will be back around my workplace for the daily strafe run.

    Welcome to TW Bud!
You've got an excellent bunch of mods going on there.
What are you running for hounds, Plotts, Redbones, Redticks, Blueticks, Walkers, other? Old time hounds man here, you've peaked my interest.

Thanks Bob! I’ve enjoyed looking through posts for couple years just decided to contribute. We mainly hunt plotts, though there are some reds in the group I’m with.

Happy to welcome a fellow houndsman to the TW forum! Really miss listening to a good pack of hounds working a track. Nice to see some are still allowed to do so. Unfortunately my state outlawed the use of dogs on bear even though many of us just hunted to tree and not to harvest. Have some fond memories hunting with friends treeing coon, bobcat and bear. I ran Redticks. Had some really good times behind some pretty good dogs. Memories! Anyway, glad you've decided to join us. Pretty good bunch of folks here and lots of knowledge to tap into as well plenty of opportunity to contribute.
    Have a great day Bud!

Not the bird feeders......., it was getting rid of the sparrows that allowed the bluebirds to nest in the seven bluebird houses. They raised two broods so now we have roughly ten bluebirds that are territorial and attack anything that they can see their reflection in. My Tacoma which is usually spotless (on the outside anyway) seems to be their main focus. A rubber snake worked for a while but not for long. I see a full truck cover in the not too distant future! That's what I get for expanding the bluebird population.
No good deed goes unpunished! :annoyed:

How about a plastic owl mounted on a magnetic base via a spring that allows it to bob around in the wind? Just a thought... Birds aren't stupid, they'll probably figure it out eventually like with the snake.

<edit> Correction: MOST birds... I swear Canada Geese are as stupid as they come. That or they just don't care.

How's the gap in between the tailgate and the side of the bed? Does much light go through or does the bedrug seal up all the gaps?
