@monkeyevil Thanks for the response. You guys are the clear winner here with the solid supports, fully powder coating and customer service. Good to hear about the surface rust if this happens to me in NE Ohio, I can just hit it with some paint and call it a day. I was between two racks, but I like the style and beefiness of the Victory. Look for my order sometime after Christmas!

I was between getting the light bar cutout or full fairing. The full faring looks great on yours! I might just go that route. How is the wind noise?

I actually called them and bought both fairings (at a slightly higher cost) because I couldn't decide. One day, I'll likely put a light bar on, but not anytime soon. Will have the light bar fairing ready to go when I do. As far as wind noise, it's there but it's not bad. You can hear it more with the soon roof manual slide door open. Anything up there is going to cause some extra noise, but it's not like my wife and I are yelling at each other to have a conversation.

Has anyone had any interference with XM reception? I've not ordered one yet but I have had issues on previous vehicles with roof racks destroying reception.

My XM comes in loud and clear. No issues. Running Maxtrax boards and a 42" rifle case up top.

There you go! That’s a great idea and I might do the same! I don’t have a sunroof so that will help. Thanks for the info.

For the Victory rack I would suggest getting the Black hardware kit. I think it gives it a cleaner look.

I dragged the top of my new Victory rack under one of those yellow "you're too tall to enter" round tube feeler things in a parking garage and didn't get a scratch. (I still had room in the garage...barely)

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, rear bumper, and skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
Honestly you can install these racks by yourself. Place a moving blanket or something simliar on the roof, while standing in the bed place the front of the rack on the blanket and push rack forward into place, then remove the blanket to lineup everything.

Received the (only) two mount replacements sent to me. They were wrapped but touching. To show that hey just maybe this happens from the packaging and I didn’t bang pieces together when installing my rack, here are pics of the two replacements sent to me, minus a little bit of paint and primer. I appreciate using steel for strength, but would rather aluminum if I’m just gonna have to deal with rust. I get I can paint them and hope these spots done rust, but I didn’t spend the money just to have to do that.

@HelloMyNameIs why the hell? A couple wraps of plastic wrap would've protected those from each other just fine. That's discouraging as someone looking to grab a roof rack soon. I'm right down the road from @victory4x4 but I keep seeing pros and too many cons from each of the manufacturers to really decide once and for all. Hope they get you all sorted out. I'd be pissed
