1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

So I haven't had a chance to wash the mud off; will do tomorrow.

What I have noticed, regarding my loud creaking, it's almost as if it's the skid plate that is making the noise (or sort of echoing it).

In place, while turning the wheel one way or another, I get a creaking noise from direct front and center.

At least your alignment isn't jacked. Either that or it's the SPC ball joint. I hit with too much grease last time so it's being temperamental

My factory upper ball joints have been fucked since I got the vehicle so it can't be that.

I did check my cam bolts and the marking is still there. Plus it's not my lca bushings as someone suggested because articulation of my suspension does not cause the creaking.

At least I've been able to duplicate the noise on demand. Just been too busy today with getting my new PG&E and other stuff set up for the new apartment tomorrow.
