Agree. Too 'busy' here as well. I told myself, deal with the alignment and while it's 'down' do a coolant flush and replace the hose clamps since I have that pink crusty bs on the lower hose at the inlet. Also need to change the oil.

So, what do I do... I said screw it and went fishing. Took the Camry instead.

18" quality barrel with a 1:7 twist, and you'll get out to 800 yards with 75gr SMK.

You can go custom so you can shoot +80gr and a 1:6.5 twist, but you should be reloading if you're doing that. And at that point, I'd recommend 6mm BR instead.

600-800 yards would be nice I think a red dot for 200 and under and that Leopold devo would be nice lol I think a 16" barrel can do that right?

A shooter with no marksmanship, ammunition with huge deviations, and a 16" barrel, and 800 yards is wildly a no go.

But yes a 16" barrel will reach it, granted you've got the right ammo and you're a good shooter. A lot of drop, and wind will easily push your round as itll be subsonic.

I like the velocity I get out of the longer barrels with my hot reloads.
