    Okay, what about hitting 200K by the summer of 2029? I may buy a nicer, newer truck in a few years, but I'm never getting rid of my current Taco. Selling her would be like letting a down a close friend.

    Maybe, depending on how much you drive per year. I do 30-40k miles per year, so that would be easy for this guy to hit.

    I hit 90K in the wee hours of Thanksgiving 2018, while driving a drunk friend home. I am now exactly 80 miles from 108K. For the sake of argument, we'll round that; That's puts me at exactly 18K miles in a little over a year.

    In my area I see a tanker truck labeled Terpening refueling almost every gas station in town .That includes several different brands of stations but always the same Terpening tanker truck making the delivery .

    @shakerhood

    Did you ever watch The Rescuers as a kid? The original movie was released in 1977 and took place in the year it was released; This car strongly resembling a 1963-1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III can be seen in the beginning, dropping off a dignitary at the United Nations...

    Then there's Percival McLeach's Bushwacker from the 1990 sequel, The Rescuers Down Under.

    It's actually a half-track!

    Cody’s mom’s pickup truck, seen in the very beginning of Rescuers Down Under. As the name implies, the entire movie takes place in the Australian Outback, and presumably in 1990 or earlier. The original movie was made in 1977 and set in the same year, so it’s possible this could be just a couple years after the first movie. The truck looks like it could be an older Toyota Hilux...

    I have a friend who drives a tanker. They drop the same gas at the cheap stations that they drop at the expensive stations. Gas is gas. Also, they don't make a mid grade. Just regular and premium. They just dump some of the premium and regular into the same tank and call it mid grade.

    Gas can get old and/or contaminated. If you're buying from a small mom & pop place that only gets a shipment once a month you're more likely to get bad gas than if you buy from a busy store that gets a shipment every other day. But that doesn't mean that even busy stores can't be responsible for contaminated gas. Stuff happens.

    Percival McLeach’s Bushwhacker makes it’s first appearance!

    It’s obviously got a non-synchronized big rig-style manual transmission, and the sound effects in the movie seem to point towards a diesel engine; The movie takes place in Australia so that’s why it’s RHD...

    This would be the Bushwhacker’s owner, Percival McLeach; He looks exactly like you’d expect an Australian poacher to look, except he lacks an Australian accent and seems to speak like an American...
