No offense, I've met a lot of ppl that work at (and own) gun shops and a lot of them dont know wtf they're talking about.

With that being said, if you need reloading advice, @Blue92 and I will be able to answer any question you may have.

Its like when you've got a Toyota question, just ask @Empty_Lord @Speedytech7

Once you get a good load worked up you need to chronograph them aswell, otherwise reloading for distance is pointless imo. Run your speed numbers through a site like JBM ballistics and that will give you your dope for different ranges. The data it gives me has always been spot on. So much so that I basically have it memorized for the ranges I shoot at.

Also I know @Kwikvette will hate me, but by no means do you need to drop the coin on a coaxial press. I learned reloading and started shooting competitions with a Lee haha. I moved to a Hornady only because of the die bushing system it uses.

All I can say is, 9 out of 10 times the most accurate load will be at or near what the book lists as the max powder load. Dont do the "start at min load and reduce by 10%" BS. Youre wasting your time. Start in the middle and work up, expect the higher loads to yield better results.

So many variables involved with ballistics. Sometimes goes against general theory. More like trial and error.

Ok I figured elevation and so forth. But I'll do sample size of 5-10 shots per recipe
