Does anyone have experience using Green air filter and/or NGK Iridium ? Curious if you noticed better fuel economy and power.

I got worse MPG with Iridiums. About 2 MPG. Played with the gap low, med, high. No positive change went back to stock Denso. Driving a 2014 2nd gen V6 w auto trans.

I had no problems with iridium plugs on my 2nd gen. Anyone who got 2 less mpg didn't install em right.

Anybody looking for significant gains in performance or fuel economy from simply changing spark plugs or air filters - unless your current stuff is totally shot - is going to be pretty disappointed. No matter what the Marketing geniuses say, there simply isn't a significant gain to be had there.

I changed my plugs at 40k ish to NGK iridiums and before that added an AFE dry air filter. I am very particular when it comes to maintenance and truly believe in iridium plugs, but not platinum...those are crap, especially bosch.

The only thing I noticed with the NGKs is a little smoother idle. But it is really piece of mind that I don't have to worry about regapping or loosing power overtime and not noticing due to plug wear.

I have used NGK iridiums in pretty much every vehicle I have owned as a piece of mind and longevity. In one of my old Grand Prix GTP's (smaller pulley, tune, blah blah blah) I noticed the copper plugs would need replaced every 10-15k and then I installed iridiums and never had to change in the 50k+ till I sold the car. I have never had a negative side effect due to iridium plugs. BUT platinum plugs don't play well in many vehicles, especially bosch for some reason. I will never buy a bosch ignition component or sensor, seen way too many of them fail.

If I’m gonna take them out to re-gap them, I’d personally rather spend the $25 and install brand new plugs. But nothing wrong with saving a few bucks of course.

I did my change after 30k as the manual says even though the plugs looked great.

Is this what you are running? I haven't heard of them so I looked them up and it seems like a solid plug with good reviews.

Personally, I'm planning on using Unobtainium plugs on my next change - if I can find them.

you do not gap iridium plugs... they are factory gapped. doing so damages them most the time as people gap them with the wrong tools

running iridium plugs allows a longer service interval thats it.

I'd go with Darmstadtium. Lol. But that would need to be made in a particle accelerator. Those plugs would prob cost more than the truck.
