MESO Total Tail Light Kit

Tell me it wasn't the holographic one that I got.

That's now in my trash.

 

Just got the tts1 in my 3rd gen taco and noticed hyper flashing only when in reverse and turn the turn signal on. Will a resistor help in this case? Not a deal breaker, definitely safer tail light set up.

 

I guess not my lucky day. I have Total tail S1 kit and ultimate turns and no swags...

Actually, I built 5 sets and put 4 of them up for sale but no takers. After a month I dropped the price just to cover parts and shipping and still nothing so I closed the thread. I did end up selling 2 sets below the cost to build them and gave 2 sets to friends. The other set is on my truck. These were designed by Meso and without his name on them they just didn't sell so I cut my loses and moved on.

Yes indeed. Although it seems like.... something is missing....

 

I don't have push button start, or 4 wheel drive, so that picture doesn't really look much like my truck.

I do, however, have a little button that looks suspiciously like the one in the red circle (although mine doesn't have a red circle).

Turns out I DO already have heated mirrors! THANKS!!!

Now I have to mod a red circle sticker for around the button. It's always something with this forum. I will get 3, put one on my truck, one on my kayak, and send one to dc2's for his kayak.

By the way, Meso Stew has contacted me promptly and helpfully about the hyper flash.

 

I have the same hyper flash on the turn signals when in reverse (but not with hazards when in reverse). Did you message Stew directly?

 

Yes, send him a PM and ask for the load resistors, include your order number.

 

I pulled up my email confirmation of shipment, hit reply, and typed in that it was hyper flashing.

 

Does anyone know what color the turn signal power and ground wire are?

 

I could be wrong but I think
L and R have different colors for power. What are you trying to do?

 

Trying to fix the hyper flashing when in reverse and the turn signal is on. After I installed the stage 1 tail light kit.

 

PM @MESO , I believe he has some that plug right in. All you have to do is ask.

 

Can someone post a video of the hyper flashing or share a link of to please. Going to install mine tomorrow and I want to know what to look for. I thought I read in some previous post that if you have the ultimate mirror turn signals you won’t have hyper flashing. Can anyone confirm this?

 

Hyper flashing is just your lights blinking super fast.

I have the stage 1 with ultimate mirrors with no issues.

Also LED heads and fogs.

 

I think it also happens when you reverse and have blinker on? I was wondering how often that happens?

I can’t think if I ever went in reverse and had a blinker on.
