Have to let you guys know that I did the dirty and upgraded to a Tundra. I wanted this truck to begin with and I bought the Tacoma to see if I liked the Toyota brand. Never the less I really liked my Tacoma and I would have kept it if this deal had not fallen into my lap. You guys are the greatest and I have learned alot from yall. Before I get someone that is flaming on me I have to say at least I stayed in the family. No big 3 for me. Thanks again. Yall are great. Peace out.

Thanks, I do not know what I will do. It will be stock for a while till the wife is not so pissed at me for trading. I kinda like the pinstripes. Thought about powder coating the rims black.

Real trucks have 18 wheels. Truckers drive a truck. Sorry, but you have a pickup.

Funny that you say that brother. I drive an 18 wheeler for a living. I drive a tanker for a company that is located in Southeast Alabama. You can see the Tail end of the tank parked out on the road in front of the house

You will be spending more for gas with the Tundra, However to some folks that's not a big deal

Ok great your sticking with the Yoda family, however I'm not sure why you think the Tundra is an upgrade from the Taco other than an upgrade in fuel expense. JK I think you'll love the Tundra. Keep us posted with the mods.

Thanks, I said upgrade because that is what I wanted in the first place. I am getting better than most of you with the V-6. I am getting about 19 with a mix of city and hwy. Granted I do baby the gas pedal. I finally got what I wanted tho. Now I can haul a bigger camper. Check out my other thread with pics of the pop up. The taco pulled it wonderfully. I have no complaints on my taco. I really liked that truck. I came across Tundra and could not pass up the deal.:)

Thinking bout goin to an FJ....I want a Tundra back but cant afford the pmt !! I LOVED my 02 Tundra TRD.

268K on the engine and it was STILL running great 17-18 mpg with a SERIOUS lead foot...

Thought the Taco would be better on gas but....not much and many more issues.

I like the single cab. If I had it here at the house with me I would take some more pics. I think that I have more room behind the seats than an access cab Tacoma. Huge back there. I bet I could put about 3 sets of golf clubs back there with out moving the seats up.
