Yessir, grandpas deer rifle from the 40's. Was hitting a torso sized rock at 225 yards with iron sights. My buddy had his Marlin Black Edition 30-30 too which was super fun.

Hi guys, just jumping in from the other coast. 1 of our guys is getting stationed back out to PNW.
    Nice looking truck gun.
I just put a similar looking one together. And added a Holosun 503 to it.1223181554.jpg

My Sub2k had to get sent in for the barrel recall so I had Kel-Tec install all my M-Carbo parts. They make the rifle feel how it should - better trigger, metal feed ramp, metal trigger guard, etc. I also added a Magpul AFG and an Olight PL-Pro. It plays well with the Magpul Glock PMAGs (15 and 27 round).

Food for thought for those of you thinking about getting one:

Prepare to spend an extra $200 on M-Carbo parts unless you want to deal with a crappy flexy 9lb. pull plastic trigger.

It is way smaller (when folded) than my 10.5" AR pistol with the SBA3 fully retracted. It is smaller than my 10/22 takedown.

It has a decent amount of felt recoil for 9mm, the AR buffer system is vastly superior.

The flip up sights are pretty meh and force you to get really low on the buffer. Works better with ear plugs than my electronic cans.

I waited forever to find the Glock 19 version I wanted at a decent price.

I think it’s being advertised as civilian legal.

They are legal to own as long as they are hand crank operated. Any sort of electrical or mechanical device for the trigger makes it illegal (well makes it NFA). Basically no way to make it fire "automatically" so to speak.

So that one is legal, but something like a minigun is not since it has an electronically controlled trigger.

I’m going to the Fredericksburg gun show this Saturday and hopefully I’ll pick up a 9mm. I’m really looking at the Taurus G2C because I like the grip and feel and it’s $200 at the store!

So any mechanical modification to up the ROF, even human powered, would reclassify it?

It is legal to own and fire fully auto weapons. It just requires proper licensing and tax stamps. Example: full auto, short barrel rifles (SBR), silencers. So no special licensing for a hand cranked weapon?
