    It’s a 1/4” driver for driving screws. It’s handy for building things. Put a drill bit in the drill and a driver bit in the impact, drill with one and run the screws with the other. That way you don’t have to swap bits back and forth. That drill/driver combo is some of the best money I’ve ever spent on tools.

    I second that, my uncle has the same dewalt setup. I helped him build our pergola by pre drilling the holes with the drill while he went behind and used the impact. Made it a breeze!

    Curious why it wouldn't work with 4.88 gears? Or did you have 3.9 gears originally?

    My understanding was that the new ring (Nitro 4.88s) was too slim and wouldn't engage. I believe the Yukons are a little thicker? Regardless, switching to the RD111 did the trick.
