Those numbers were deducted from simple math and since 50% could mean anything I went with peak numbers. I deduced so based on the new numbers of the 3.6L wrangler which Mag has the actual number listed and there pretty high for a similar engine.

They revised their potential power without releasing any other info to support the revision.

Seems like a best guess place holder until actual results get released.

    I think 50 percent is a good estimate. It's a big blower for a v6.

But until we see hard data I wouldn't take any HP claim as fact.

Fun fact is harrop and Manson both using the same blower so we will get to see which company out tunes the other hehehe.

Looks like Harrop hasn't released any estimate on power figures. Smart move I think.

Exactly, same blower used on the Maggie for the 5.7 Tundra as you already know, which is quite large, also considering the larger 4.0 1gr-fe out of the 4Runner is only utilizing the 1320. The real difference between the Harrop and Magnuson will be the intercooler and heat exchangers and of course as you mentioned tuning.

Yes. If you can't drain the oil faster than it's being fed out the seal its going to most likely go.

But that’s still 415 at the crank. Which will result in about 355-ish at the wheels. Which is still less than what mat is predicting his twin turbos will make

    Might double check that

I remember him saying WHP on the last twins setup but most of his other numbers since have been normal HP

Def good point. In the end if one didn’t care about the warrantee and willing to put forth supporting mods, both the TVS blower and twins have significantly more head room to make more power. If us jelly boosted 2nd gen guys had these options we’d be squeezing every ounce of power until our motors goes boom.:bananadead:
That’s why I’m jumping ship. I promised never to say Turd Gen again:D

The old mid-mount setup he had a dyno run of about 400whp. He said he scrapped the mid-mount setup for a top-mount and he said that top-Mount will likely perform better

There is no "likely" ..it blows away the mid mount.

And yes our results were measured at the hub (without wheel).

    It's more than 400 crank.

The best part I think is it's quiet. Not obnoxious. The VTA setup on our truck is very mild. Exhaust (stock) is actually quieter than stock truck at idle.

It has a very "OEM" type of feel

I’m betting they’re getting a wiff of Mat’s numbers and decided to change the pulley sizes a bit. Maybe. :)

Oh that's a great feature. But I know turbos. That is not the best part.

I’m in Cali and definitely going for the twinz

you only have to smog every two years I believe.

if you wrench even just a bit it shouldn’t be hard at all to just take them off and revert to stock.

Will be a great opportunity for any engine maintenance. Or FArkle polishing you may want to do

maybe I’m just weird and don’t see this as a problem really?

50% on Magnuson is nice to see. I think this kit will take majority of the market and Matt’s twin kit aswell. Harrop based on the pricing of the Tundra kit will be higher. Majority already don’t like the $6495 price tag of a Magnuson.

A Magnuson with a OV Tune possibly different pulley will be the supercharger kit of choice.

Twin kit from OV as it sounds like will hit a better price point, more potential and more efficient for amount of boost vs output at rear wheels.

I agree that Magnuson and OVT TT will be the top choices, but I think it will be the other way around. Considering the better efficiency, presumably more complete tune, and lower price point of the OVT TT, I think it'll be the best seller. The one thing that could prove me wrong, is their limited reach/marketing vs Magnuson.

It's goint to take several folks purchasing different kits and driving them in real world conditions before a clear "best" emerges. "Best" meaning overall power output, drivability, noise, longevity, cost and legality. Then it will come down to what you really want from your truck. Personally, I think my truck, running OVT 2.0 Beta has plenty of top end power. Where I want an increase is idle to 3000 rpm. My hot rodder's brain immediately says that a supercharger is the answer, but I have very little turbo experience and I'm genuinely curious as to how the turbos will perform. I have an open mind.
