Even if it's just a couple of us that can hit up the trails we can all still meet up later after work and get food/drinks...I'm still up for camping one night while out there too

he passed in Oct of last year and she has been doing really well outside of holidays...

Yeah, it is a little tough for me too because obviously I want to feel special or whatever but that's also not her responsibility

Makes sense, mb then for trynna encourage that. That's always super hard to be there for your woman and to handle her past. Mine has a lot of weird pet peeves and freaks out over weird things from being fkd over in the past too. Just be there for them when they need you, you are doing the right thing

Yea it's a few days at least to run it properly unless you only do portions of it, from what I gather.

It's all good, I know that is a cliche for sure :D

for sure, takes some effort to have to have the ability to not take it personally when they are going through stuff and empathize with them...sounds like you do a good job about it

there is no way to say how true that statement is. I try my best, but I wouldn't give me too much credit. This was my first relationship and still learning her and the quirks 2.5 years later. I still get upset at a lot of things, but like you said I go back to empathizing and knowing it isn't me truly at the heart of it all.

It's a rough one for us men, bc in the end we're always wrong, we always are the one to apologize, we are expected to always back down with a dispute between s.o's, and to provide food to the table with a smile after long shifts. This being my first relationship I had issues with it all. Never been tied down, never had someone yell at me for dirty shit besides my mom; it goes on lol
