Best hybrid tire for stock TRD Off-road?

    Looking for a new set of tires for on and off road usage. They will be for my daily driver/family off road adventure vehicle. I spend a fair share of time off the pavement but like I said it is still my daily driver so I would love to hear what everyone else has gone with. Truck has no lift or suspension mods and is completely stock wheel and tire wise. Looking for a set that is bigger than the stock set but will not rub or require any cutting. Seen a lot of people suggesting the Cooper ST Maxx as well as the Falken AT3W but wanted to see if there was any other well performing tires I should be looking into. Thank you TW!

    I've been extremely impressed with these tires. Ride and handle like a passenger car tire, but have enough meat, deep tread, and siping to work extremely well in rocky, gravel, wet, snow, etc., I have 40k+ miles on mine right now and they still are holding steady at 10/32nds and wearing very evenly. Probably the only tire I'll ever put on the truck

    For looks alone, I prefer KO2s to the other all-terrain tires. They have a more aggressive tread and sidewall pattern that appeals to me, but that's totally subjective and not trying to start a fight between Duratrac fans and KO2 lovers. It's my daily driver. They're fine for everyday driving. It's not like they're a mud tire. They squeal a little bit more when I slam on the breaks, but I get a kick out of panicking the driver in front of me, so that's a plus.

    I had the Nitto Terra Grapplers on my last truck, and I liked those a lot, too. Falken Wildpeaks are nice, too.

    Unless you really want a heavy tire, I'd avoid anything higher than C rating (6 ply).

    Bfgs KO2 ATs , silent on road. Wear very well. Pretty good off road with some nice sidewall thread. Not the best in snow even tho they got the snowflake rating.

    When my current set wears out, ill be getting another set of bfgs, great all around tire. No issues balancing at all.

    Had duratracs on my previous truck, absolute beasts off road and in the snow, but loud on road.

    Had those tires once and never again. In my experience they were terrible in rain, off road and especially snow. They do make a great highway tire tho :) They wear quite well and are silent on road. Lasted me 4 or 5 seasons.

    Not sure why its called all terrain tire.

    Have those on my work van and i am quite impressed in snow and rain, really good tire. A bit of a hum on highway. For my liking, they do lack the sidewall thread tho. Was thinking to install them on my taco next but im pretty sure im sticking with bfgs ko2s.

    I went out on a limb and got Pathfinder AT’s from America’s Tire. I believe they’re made by Kumho and rebranded for the chain.
    So far so good, on the road and some rocky roads.

    I have the C load version of the Wildpeaks on mine. My truck is also my daily driver, but I have done moderate offroading with it.

    These tires provide great traction in the rain and snow on pavement, definitely better than the stock passenger tires. The increase in road noise was pretty minimal for an AT tire. Loss in MPG wasn't too severe probably because I have the lighter C load. Overall I've been very happy with them.
