I would pull the OEM one off and have it powdercoated. There’s a shop in Marietta that’ll do it for I’d guess $100-150 considering they charged $105 for my HC rear.

That sounds like a good option. If I am remembering right though (and it has been a while since I looked into it) people had issues with powdercoating the chrome, or there was a lot of prep work to be able to do so. I could be way off though, and maybe that was only for painting color matched, but I thought shops were saying they wouldn't powdercoat the chrome or if they did they wouldn't warranty it because they couldn't guarantee it would last. There are some threads on here that dive pretty deep on this.

Check out @ssmith0480 truck below, he PC'd his rear in Caddillac Grey from Prismatic Powders. Its the same color that i powdercoated my front and rear bumpers.

The shops name is Packer Industries. 404-505-0522. They powdercoat large items (lots of trash bins), so they have ovens and bead blasters large enough to fit a large vehicle in. Quality was great. They blasted my whole bumper then coated it with the provided Caddillac Grey powder that i provided them.

That looks pretty good, I think I would spring for the $150.

From what I have read, the front in the lowest setting can be between 2- 2 1/2 inches. The add a leaf is 1 1/2 inches with the over load leaf out, 2 inches with it in.
    Maybe others will chime in..

From what I've seen, on the bottom clip setting, folks are settling to around 2". Damn, I wish I had the money to pick this up, this is a deal! It was between suspension or skids for me, and I went with the latter.

So I have never had any suspension work done on any vehicles before. How hard would this be to install by myself in my garage? Or at worse, what would be a reasonable price to pay a shop?
Lastly, would the ride stiffen (would i feel every bump on the road or be a smoother ride ) I don’t off road but like would like a taller stance and do occasionally ride a dirt road.

Is this for a Turd gen?

If it is and you are changing the UCA is going to be the top bolt for the UCA. Other than that, you are golden. Nothing really difficult outside compressing the coil to meet the UCA.

Did my front and rear in a day by myself. That included assembly of my spring on my front shocks with a spring compressor from advance auto parts.
There's a mod day on Saturday. Perfect timing if you ask me to learn how to do it with the help of others. I know atleast one other will be there doing a similar install.

So this setup would require aftermarket UCA’s or would stock suffice?

No it would not, but most folks would update the UCA unless you are @marinemonkey
