    lol if only. But i do love it so there is that. Just getting tired is all!

    no doubt. Currently mainly a Classical engineer/producer and jazz on the side. Building an analog mixing console/setup to start freelance mastering and mixing though, so then who knows what.

    :bananadead: i finally got it to retract before dropping off at the Ming place to seal my paint up for the winter, but it took a dozen attempts at turning radio on off on off... wonder if the mast is bent or something or just the cold :notsure:

    I dig that. I can tolerate music from most genres but there are few that I actually like. Classical and Jazz I like.

    I saw it (episode 4, a new hope) in the UA 70 curved screen here in downtown Seattle in 1977, twice as the first time we sat in the front row on the far right side then snuck back in for the next showing and sat in the middle;
    Then saw (episode 5, empire strikes back) at the same theater but was on crutches; theater manager walks by (line was around the building) and asks me and my two buds to come with her, we get in first before the rush and sat square in the middle of the curved screen about 1/2 up from screen.

    Same idea here. I’m looking for a decent 89-95 pickup 2wd to lower. Similar to this one. DA14162D-2DE4-48A0-8474-580637DD9A18.jpg

    If I didn’t have to use 4WD half the year to go down the damn highway, I would love a lowered 2WD daily!

    Stock again- rip slug
    Wanted to do this to my 5 lug at first, but the same for me. Can't drop it bc it's our camping/trail rig and goes everywhere. Maybe long into the future when I get a new rig and it's 4wd if I still got the taco I'll take it back down to the ground lol looks super fun tho

    I don’t have no need here where I live in Ga. Small town hardly ever get ice on the roads. Everybody knows anytime we get snow in central Ga everything freaking closes so no need to leave the house.

    I really like the look of a single cab but can't do without the extra space. I fill up the front with groceries as it is even with the extra cab.

    Used to see one of these with a beautiful wooden flatbed in my old work complex parking lot. Might have a picture somewhere

    Started fixing my parking brake that was no longer engaging on the driver's side. The bell crank pivot rusted shut, so I picked up the Dorman replacement kit along with some new shoes.

    bellcrank_comparison_800.jpg

    backing_plate_800.jpg

    My backing plate is also falling apart. Scraping rust quickly turned into punching holes. Don't want to spend $200+ on new backing plates right now, nor do I want to pull axles. I'm leaning towards a cheap fix with aluminum tape until I'm ready to fork over the cash for new backing plates and oem drums. I wasn't able to find any guides about replacing the backing plates. What would be the next steps once you have the axles pulled like this?
