Definitely put me down for a V2W. Is there a fitment difference or a cosmetic difference between the 05-11 & 12-15?

 

First, please order directly from our website. The prices are reduced there. Also, please be sure to include ALL ( 3 ) LED color choices: Primary, Secondary, and Halo LEDs.

Secondly, there is no physical difference between the V1 and V2W (2005-2011 / 2012-2015) only, the wiring is different. The 2005-2011 version is Silver and the 2012-2015 is Satin Black to match.

About $3 in materials, couldn’t justify spending over $100 for a HILUX SURF knob with ring for a light.

 

I'm wondering how much a Dremel could take off this to make it fit. The tech dech is pretty snug in that cubby too.

 

TechDeck is about 2.5mm+ thick on each side. Our internal PCBs run nearly the full length. We do not advise this modification.

It’s so easy, buy 2 pre-wired LED’s, then hot glue them into place.

- When you pull the switch out, there’s a little hole at the bottom.

- Run your wires through there, you do have to remove the headunit and HVAC controls to pull the wires through and tap into the illumination wires.

- Make sure to leave the wire with some slack. You will have to play around with positioning the wire in order for the switch to function properly. All said and done, maybe 30mins of your time.

 

I see on the website it says that the V2W is powered by battery as well as wired to the truck to turn on\off & sim along with the rest of the lights inside. How & where would this be wired, would a hole need to be made on the bottom of the stereo faceplate to run the wires?

I have one of the V2Ws and love it. FYI - It works just fine with the Panavise mount and the mounts that @Lostsheep sold me (if installed after you install the FlyzEye unit). I can post a picture if anyone requests it.
