    ive Deff thought about it. I just honestly can’t see anytime I will ever use it with what I’m doing. If even the rear locker.

    My truck has the 8” rear end, but I deff went with the solid spacer add-on.

    Yup, the 8" rears always had the solid spacer available. The 8.75" rears didn't until recently.

    When did they release the rear 8.75 Solid preload spacer?

    Oh Man.... They didn’t have it When didn’t mine few months ago. I did get the Solid Preload for the front. Damn! Really wanted to get the Solid rear spacer for the rear!

    In my experience a front locker isn't needed in these trucks. Those of us that do pretty tough crawling don't really need them. There are few if any trails outside of dedicated Jeep/buggy trails that our trucks can't do. You'll find a front locker will get people into more trouble than out. If you really NEED a front locker, I would expect a lot of body damage coming out of that trail.

    A solid spacer isn't really needed either. I've offroaded the heck out of my truck across Colorado and Utah (Moab) on tougher trails than 99% of TW will see without issue.

    Does anyone know of a situations where a crush sleeve failed?

    Yes, I've seen plenty of failures. The 8" rear elocker on 1st and 2nd gens was prone to failure. Of course, that was if you smack the pinion on something and not daily driving.

    It was likely another issue, the only claims that a crush sleeve is weaker is conjecture.

    The only true advantages I have found is:
    Reusable
    Easier setup
    Can't overtighten
    Can replace pinion seals without losing preload

    I'm not trying to convince anyone one way or the other, just throwing out info for people to make a decision. for me and all my offroading and crawling, it's 100% not needed.

    Cool, stoked to hear. I am really interested but I want to see how much computer hassle it will cause. I have an ultragauge that has my fuel level in it that seems more accurate/less terrified than the stock, but I also don't want to deal with the stock truck comp panicking when I, "run out of gas."

    At this point I see no end in sight on this build ;)
    I will be having BudBuilt make a SS skid set for it after install.

    Next on the list is gonna be that TacoBox.
    Then the fun begins. Lol

    Also, @JoeCOVA should you want one of the tanks, my buddy owns State48Overland and can hook you up.

    I hear you on that. I came close to buying a local Ultra4, for the price he wanted and a seat in the KOH was very tempting.
    However I have to focus, I got caught up in 3 builds at once this year :/

    Traded a Baja bike I built for an FJC, and we got a newer gen 4runner that is going to be a glamper from hell!
