When I did it, I used stacked pieces of two by sixes under all wheels. That made the height adjustable and it’s much sturdier then any ramp.

My local dealership does free oil changes for life if you buy from them...They also top off the fluids and do routine maintenance for free when I bring it in for the oil change. Any reason I should do it myself? Seems like they use QuakerState oil... probably not a terrible product right?

    Geezus, that’s awesome.
We got the factory two year maintenance, but for life ? Wow.
Quaker State ? Why not ? If it’s free for life , I’d become a Quaker, buy their oil and their oats. Praise the Lord.

Tell them to take over our dealership.

I guess I should say "for the life of you owning the vehicle." Been good so far.

They also guarantee the engine for the life of the vehicle as long as you come in for your routine maintenance. And free car wash at the dealership.

You can simply take your used oil to any auto part store or Wal-Mart and they will take it. You can change your own oil for under $20 and it gives you a chance to inspect everything.

Oh, that was clear for me. Imagine though what you could sell a used Taco for if oil service was free for the life of the truck and was transferable ? Ha ha

Man, car washes and life time engine fix ?
The competition must be vicious between dealerships.

You can tell how long I’ve been out of the waste oil loop. I’ve been dumping into my neighbors business waste oil burner for twenty years until he went propane on me. Thanks for the info !!
Still, I change enough oil in everything else. I do “oil the body” of my vehicles every year for rust prevention....but I use bio degradable oil.
    Thanks again.

No problem, I am surprised he switched out as the waste oil would have been free.

There are 2 Toyota dealerships within 15 minutes of me. They are pretty competitive on prices. I went back and forth twice with prices from each before the one backed down and said they couldn't match it. Works out well for the buyer :)

I'm not convinced on the lifetime engine guarantee yet. I have heard they end up recommending ridiculous services after the first couple years, and that if you don't follow them that it will void the lifetime engine warranty. Hasn't happened to me yet, but we will see.

I do something similar. I toss it over the fence into my neighbors yard.

Ha ha. Can’t do it here. Too many gun owners locked and loaded on a hair trigger just waiting for an excuse to sick their dogs on my waste oil polluters ass....Around here, the locals would give you a Good Samaritan metal for taking a waste oil polluter out of circulation. We all have wells.
Besides, I’ve never run into a taco owner who wasn’t an environmentalist at heart...so I know you jest.

    Ha ha.
We have it all over Texans. We have constitutional carry so everyone, even the dogs are armed. My neighbor has his own shooting range. My previous neighbor had a cannon aimed at my bedroom window from his front yard. We stayed on his good side.
This is common around here in the boondocks. No one crosses anyone.
Btw, gun owners around here are environmentalist too. Can’t trust anyone anymore.

It's assumed down here that everyone has a gun in their vehicle.

Ha ha, you mean, up there.
Bet you buttocks. Not only our trucks, but ATVs, tractors and snow mobiles. My neighbor has a special “ holster” attached to a support in his skid steer.

Negative. No residency needed to keep a concealed pistol on you in you vehicle or on private property in Texas.
