After seeing the pricing for the ^ one I would definitely consider making one on my own! Interesting, thanks for sharing this!

I’d like to get one of those but I don’t think it will work with my MX4 BakFlip because it lowered the bed rails. :(

It might if you flip the knobs. Makes it have more clearance.

If you have a locking tailgate and mount the brackets like I have in the pic (rear facing) it can't be stolen. The tailgate would need to be lowered to remove the mounting brackets. They could steel the rubber knobs though.

Correct. The rail T-screws slide into the factory rails then mount to L-brackets via the big rubber knob. Then, the actual divider mounts to the L brackets via more big rubber knobs. If you remove the divider knobs, the divider can only go down (towards the bottom of the bed) which isn't an option. So, it would have to slide completely out (the L brackets). Trying to slide it out, it hits the side of the bed before you can fully slide it out. Probably a horrible explanation. Easier to show.

i understand it. i have a tonneau that also dropped down the rails which is why i jumped in. i didn't think it was an option, so thanks.

I like that! But won’t that interfere with the DB cover? I think it locks into the bed rails...

DB cover locks in the center. Flipping the L brackets would allow for quick removal of the divider to install on either side of the center DB bracket. More often then not, it will be in the rear half of the bed. But I have an idea to install it on the front half of the bed with the front DB portion removed to basically turn the rear half of my bed into a dog kennel when I take my bird dog hunting with me.
