Yep. I'll be gone for the next 3 weekends or I'd yank it out for him. It better be out when I get back.

    OP, best of luck man.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Sunday is so far away! Seriously, no trucks with a winch near you? o_O

I might need to take a road trip this weekend and pull you out.

I'm going tomorrow but just to check on my truck, it's going to be raining this week and the weekend is supposed to be sunny so that's my best bet

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
I don't want to commit to anything (just yet) but here's my situation.
    1. My truck interior is completely torn apart for a full stereo replacement. There's no way I would drive 24+ hours without music. I will try to get the stereo upgrade buttoned-up this evening.
    2. I had foot surgery about 1.5 months ago. I just started walking on my foot again this week, but it is still painful and I am not supposed to run or put too much weight on it until the plate is fully fused with the bones. That shouldn't prohibit me from assisting with the recovery, but may limit how much I can carry or negotiate the terrain (on foot).
    3. I have to tell the "better half" my intentions. We're supposed to go cut a Christmas tree on Sunday (these surgeries put a damper on our scheduled plans to get a tree right after Thanksgiving). I would never hear the end of it if I messed up our plans to get a tree this year.
If all of the above terms have been met - there's a good possibility I can head out tomorrow after work and get there early Sat. morning. Again, I don't want to commit to saying "I'm on my way" but I will see what I can do to make it happen.
