Be careful. They’ll claim there are no mountains in Alaska.

 

Know your English grammar.
It doesn’t have to. The diagonal distance to chimney pond is greater then a mile from that location and the location is above it. The statement is grammatically correct. Obviously, it’s not vertical and doesn’t represent an altitude.
Know your geometry too.
You to chose to read it incorrectly.
