Also, if anybody wants a Mossberg Maverick 88 let me know. Not worth a whole lot, security barrel. I've only shot it once and it'll come with a bunch of boxes of shells and a more sophisticated trigger lock.

Are you on VaGunTrader? That's probably your best bet. Not sure about a trade but someone may be looking for something on the cheaper side considering the legislation that's coming down. Only speaking from experience - I tried and tried to sell one of those in 2013 before finally letting it go for $275.

EDIT: Just looked back at my spreadsheet and I actually got $300 and in 2012 but only because I had installed the Apex trigger kit. I need to check my facts better before I post this shit...

 

I'll look into VaGunTrader, I just want to get something nicer before we get tread on/ I move somewhere else to avoid that.

 

Heard that! I have had good luck there. As is always the case, there are shitheads, but most seem reasonable to deal with. Ask for VA DL and "good guy creds" and 99% are happy to comply.

I like that idea. It would totally work. Just place the ladder feet up against the front of the bed so it doesn't slide.

 

Why would you die? The truck would make a solid base. Improvise man! Improvise!

 

Or, if you have a long enough 2x?, drop the tailgate, stand the 2x? on edge against the truck, and place ladder on tailgate against the 2x?

 

Questionable ideas but I’ll pass. I ain’t trying to impress my neighbors that bad!
