    Same crap everyone else got
Which wheels do you like more? That's what I would focus on. You can always go up in size next time you need tires. Or buy new ones later and sell your current tires without your wheels.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Snake Pit! When floppin’ is just part of it.

@ ~12:30 the guy is standing on one tire completely. Pretty impressive how he wiggles it out of a locked stand, but then when he thinks he is getting traction...pewwwww flat tire

well they are so similar it would not really matter to me regardless. Both tires aren’t as aggressive as I’d like but I can fix that later.

    Thanks for the help!

Any of you north GA guys heard of Findley Chute or Findley Gold Mine? It's an abandoned gold mine on a ridge just east of Dahlonega. Thought it'd be a cool place to explore on a trip sometime before the weather heats up.

I've dug around deep enough to find out where it is and where the entrances to it are, but I'm just not sure if it's on private property or not. Anyone got any knowledge about that area? It's off of Mechanicsville Rd. in Dahlonega. I wouldn't even know who to call to find out if it's public land or not.

I'd be interested in exploring the area. How soon are you thinking? I am free the week of New Year's - maybe one day that week?

Haven't done much poking around with stuff on this side of the Mississippi, so this may or may not help. But when i was researching areas the following were useful.

Mvum (motor vehicle use maps) from the National Forest service. They have them online and with Avenza Maps app, it'll take the georeferenced pdf and you can see your position if you have gps. Expensive app if you upgrade to store more than 5(i think) pdfs at a time, but it's awesome for using mvums in the middle of nowhere with no cell service.

Online tax collector/GIS maps that'll tell you if it's private or not

Hunting websites/apps that can show the same

Old topo maps (many are free in the Avenza app store)

I'd have to check with the better half, may be able to get something together that soon. Just need to make sure we could get back there without legal problems.

Excellent point about the GIS map! Looks like the property owner is listed as G05-5 LLC. from HIALEAH FL 33016. So maybe a holding company? It definitely does not appear to be public land. :frusty:

This is the location for the mine: https://goo.gl/maps/9kEEtitNVzkpbAuf6

Truck is going to be a whole new whip in a few weeks!! Scheduled an appointment today for a whole new exhaust with 3” pipe from the exhaust manifolds back. I’ll finally be able to put my transfer case skid on! Anyone have suggestions on a quiet but high flowing muffler? I was recommended to go with a Magnaflow at the shop.

Gotta make sure I get the maintenance items squeezed in too, brakes and pulley bearings need replacing.

I think it’ll compliment the SC well, for way future mods down the road to it. I’m not positive though, hoping to get some confirmation in the 4.0 SC thread. 2.5 may be the way to go.

I ran 3” on my rsx with the 4cyl k20 in it and it loved it. Granted it was full bolt on with stage 2 cams, but still NA. Those motors can breathe

Ever think about getting a full dyno tune session? I know some run some type of canned tune from toyota or whatever with the S/C. I can't imagine being forced induction there being a better bang for the buck than a dyno tune by a good tuner.
