I PMed him earlier and asked him if its cool and that prick gave me the run around but ultimately gave me his blessing to talk unrelated supercharger stuff in here. That guy is a real douche.

I have quad retros on my car but I don’t like how the all black housings look on the car. Off the car they look great though. Going back to the chrome surrounds and keeping the black shrouds. Should be just enough black.

Having difficulty aiming them but so I can’t really comment on output. With just the clear lens swap on my stock projectors it seems brighter.

Got my shipped email for my NST pulley's. Just the 3pc set obviously.

Should have the truck back today. I'll slap the pulleys on whenever they show up, then hook up my HP Tuner, pull some data.. and let the games begin.

Ya. The 300ZX was not as good in that regard. I've heard good things about the 350Z and 370Z in terms of reliability though.

i would say rent a quality puller and buy a new press tool. they incure a lot of stress. used might not be a good option.

Gonna go with a lightweight steel one from LCE. No hydro bearing as they dont make it for the 5spd yet. This is getting installed on the 4 banger

I'm not @Torspd, but have you considered a quality synthetic 0W-30? FWIW, I'm happy with Amsoil's version of it here, where it gets pretty cold, though not your kind of cold.
No issues with Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90 in mine.

Before anyone asks, I'm not a salesman and I don't own stock. Just reporting my experience with products that work well for me.

Hey guys, got an appointment for some exhaust work in a couple weeks. Taking out the factory setup from the stock manifolds/primary cats back. A couple questions:

    1) Is 3” piping from the manifolds back too much?
    2) What is the quietest, free flowing muffler I should throw on it? Shop suggested the largest magnaflow, read of people liking the largest dynomax.

Truck has the TRD SC with 2.85” pulley(for now) and aFe CAI feeding it. Factory TRD tune for now, plan on HPT way down the road. Power is not currently a priority right now but I wanna make sure I set it up right the first time.

Main requirements are that I want to free up the exhaust to support the SC in the best way and I don’t want a loud exhaust, as close to factory as possible(I know that won’t be possible with secondary cats removed, 3” piping, etc, but as quiet as said setup can possibly be)

I haven’t personally put mine on yet, but going off @Roostfactor recommendations it sounds like a Dodge Ram 1500 19+ is for you. 3” pipe, flows for 400hp, quiet, stock ish.

Not sure what is around you, but I went to the dodge dealership first and asked them where they send trucks and customers for exhaust upgrades. Then I went there and asked them to hold the next dodge 1500 exhaust they cut off instead of junking it. They had one sitting on the floor when I went back to talk with the mechanic.

If I get a hold of one I will bring it down to Atlanta in February.

Oh shit you were being serious, I mis-understood that and thought you were being facetious and saying I should get a Dodge Ram lmao...

So if you went full custom what would you suggest? One other main point that is really currently the driving factor of all this is the relocation of the y-pipe so I can install my TC skid. I figure but once cry once and do it all at the same time though

Dead serious. I just completed the URD equal length long tube headers, they will go with my JFR Y-pipe that should haven't any issues clearing any brand mid skid (mine is SOS Concepts), and then Roost went to a 3" collector at the back of the Y with a single high flow cat and resonator that I will butt into my Dodge "Keg"erator muffler. He is running this setup currently. There are some pics of how neatly tucked up into the body it can go. I can't remember who did it, but somebody already went with a couple 45 degree bends to tuck it up higher. I just have to clear my Hilux long range fuel tank.
