@OVTune Mat, If sales of your turbo kit are strong enough, do you have any plans to persue a CARB certification for them? That would be the clincher for me.

I will have to double check but I don't think it's possible to get CARB approval if the OEM catalyst is removed, even if it is replaced with an aftermarket catalyst.

I am glad I came on here today. I was ready to give up hope on this turbo kit coming out. I can’t wait for this kit to drop. I had my money ready 7 months ago.

I just sold off some stocks and moved them to a savings account in preparation. Hoping to be one of the first!

That literally answers none of my questions. I've read every page of this thread since the beginning.

Watching this video reminds me of riding around at Canada creek ranch when I was in high school riding with buddies tearing up rye fields. Granted wasn’t anything nice just kids in pickups but the rye fields took some punishment. Thankfully we were never caught.

Now just need a video of it playing on asphalt!

I think you need to re-read what I asked him. I asked about options for other BOVs other than the built in BPV/recirc valve and the built in VTA. I don't understand what the confusion is.

Thank you! I mean, like, not even close to what I asked. I guess that shows who does and doesn't work in an automotive field or have knowledge about them. Oh well!

I highly doubt Matt will provide any other options for a BOV over what’s already built in. It’ll make the kit too complicated for practical sales and will just confuse most people with added options. Plus it’ll make it another headache for Matt to deal with

I just didn't know if it would be an afterthought for him since it would only require adding a bung to the charge pipe. Also, I was trying to get the thread back on track regarding HIS product and not add more BS about other brands.

The turbochargers have two options. With integrated BOV that dumps to atmosphere, and without.
That's it. Not offering anything else.

Gotcha. Nice and simple. The Garrett has the built in BPV correct?

Well other brands FI is still relevant since they are his direct competition and he fully acknowledges the threat they may pose regarding sales and performance

No need to be smart ass. I simply misread your first question as I was browsing through the thread this morning.

Yes I have plenty of automotive experience, and have ran a handful of turbo cars in the past.. even more ironic, the last of them I installed a block off plate on the integrated BPV and ran a tial BOV...

Next time stop and realize a lot of here are doing so to help the community, not act like kids and give smart ass responses.

I'm loving that this thread has become so active and that Mat/OVtune has been responding to questions also very actively. For the sake of this thread and due to how long it has become we should all know how to review old posts made by Mat.

If you find one of his posts, click on the arrows above the "Like Multi-Quote+ Quote" links, click forwards or backwards to see his next or previous post in the thread. This was how I got caught up as I joined the party around page 200ish. (I think)

Here is a pic of them in case my description doesn't make sense.
