So, @Beretta4x4 , @MattCowsmasher , and anyone else that knows LBR, when I (finally) go wheel and tire shopping, or while I scrounge used deals, what should it be? (And I am shooting for 32 ish, so no mods or rubs). 16" (what I have) with more tire ? 17" with a little less? I note a lot of 17's around, but I have a brand new spare stock tire in 16. What you think?

 

Think you should stick with 16 since 17s entails more money spent. You could rock a 255/85/16 or a 285 also with trim to fit.
Hell a aggressive 265/75 would look good to.

 

Exactly what Matt said. Also, with a 255/85r16 you would be taller at a true 33" wheel, but tires tend to run a little more in this size. 265/75r16 will be a 32" tire and is a very common size, making replacement tires easier to come by.

 

I forgot. What I have is....265/75 R16 112T Ironman AT . They are just a LITTLE small. But, 16" with more tire would be OK. OH yes - I forgot, if I find aftermarket wheels, I have no idea what offset would be needed/good. I don't mind them sticking out a LITTLE.

A 16x8 with 0 offset will be good up to 35s. That's the size wheel I run and I've had 265/75r16, 255/85r16 and now 315/75r16. Only rub with the 315s.

 

I used to know, now I know just what it means barely. I do know if I find stock Toyota, won't matter.
I'm going to go back in our Wazoo threads, where we went over tire size. I think we settled on something that would be just about 33, but not there, would not give me interference.

THIS question was mostly about wheel size, because I look at used stuff a few times a week - and miss bargain Ray 10!
