More like Tacoma World tricked him into offroading his truck so they could "recover" him. OP, tell your family where you're going and show them this thread, just to be safe.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
A previous SAR member gave me one of these for my recovery kit. I think it's an awesome thing to keep on-hand if you need to recover a vehicle without proper tow/recovery points, or if they are not accessible.

These allow you to hook into the slots or holes along the vehicle frame to be used as a tow point. They are usually called Frame Hooks, Frame Keys, Cluster Hooks etc.

Just a thought, if you need additional recovery points or if the D-Ring is not easily accessible. But, don't mind me - I'm just over here virtue signaling :p

Damn man, I totally would help if I didn't live in Maryland. Also, I don't know jack-shit about recovery. Or off-roading. BTW whats virtue signalling mean?

Definitely gonna need a substantial piece of plywood as a base, but get a hi-lift under the slider and get to jackin'. You're gonna break something if you try pulling without getting the truck up and out of the hole it's in.

We're going to need updates every 5-10 minutes on how well it's drying.
Going to need some consistency samples as well to ensure good quality.
Also will need pictures of you next to your fine work.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
He said something might already be broken... which is going to make things even worse.
