We have gas heat, we are on an equal payment plan and it’s $84 a month all year. Our house is only 984 square feet though.

I'm good. I have been navigating through the holiday season. So far, so good.
Do you have any plans for X-Mas?

Holy moly I'm jealous. We only fill our propane about once a year since we don't like using it for heating in the winter $$$, but our electric is 3x that on a standard basis. Damn...

I'm ready to uproot myself (my family is welcome, but not necessary) and move to a proper climate that doesn't involve frozen nostrils, chapped lips and a general dislike/hate for everyone and everything.

Who got the hook up for employment in the above described location?

@Yota03DC okay as @Twizted pointed out to me our house is also 3x larger, but the cost variable is that we also are paying that much more for no benefit since that's just existing lol. To run our propane at that level would probably be $300/mo alone. Ugh.

Love the monthly payment route. Our gas is 64$ a month. Power is on the same monthly plan at 115$ I believe. Did suck this month was settle up, but one of those usually has a month where we don’t pay.

Our power bill is $79 a month and we actually didn’t have to pay this month, woohoo!

What's your all time biggest electic bill? This question is to anyone.
Ours was $280...1600sq ft, all electric, no gas.

I think we popped a $400 last summer. All electric, no gas. 3,300 squares.
What hurt the most was the $400 water bills with a newly sodded yard. We got a well and went for the level billing plan for electric.

Yeah well there’s a story. Should I? What the hell! Whatever right?
Pops and I were in ABQ for 25 years and the poor dude buried his second wife in 2017. I had just gotten laid off after 18 years with Intel and both of my sisters had to move to Jax for work. So we all sold our houses and bought 2 in the same neighborhood so he’s with all his kids now. He and myself and oldest sister live together and my other sister has her own place just down the same street. I haven’t worked in 2 years taking care of Pops after a very non-graceful stair fall.
