His truck still looks the same, it only got souped up.

    It's the white one.

    It was definitely fun.

Went through deep looking sand and/or ruts. Never worried I'd get stuck, lol.

Okay hold up. I need specifics on what I'm looking at. That looks too easy to install to be a power adder modification. I don't even know what it is and I want one.

    Procharger.

    :burnrubber:

/e: Definitely not easy. He hasn't had the truck for months, lol. Though they were working on a 4Runner first.

Welp. I learned that Prochargers are a thing. It's a belt driven turbo that cools through a secondary radiator. Okay, not "easy," but easy as far as power-adders go. I still want one.

I have the 2.sadness liter engine with an auto... I know... that's why I'm interested. Why does it take so long? Do they have to spend that much time doing custom fitting and tuning, or do they just have a long lead time?

Also, just noticed something glorious in this picture.

(Gillette Stadium last Sunday when the Chiefs gave the Patriots a whats what.)

    79431906_2546581575661475_76921575523473_f9da0de6d3ffd001458a3b1b06b247761bbf5907.jpg

Needed to do the fittings and all that, would be faster on the next go around for the next interested party.

He was supposed to get the truck back 3 days ago, but they fried something and had to repair it.

That's why I'm still keeping an eye out for a reasonably affordable an viable 2nd gen option. I'm related to race car people so the semi-custom turbo route is an option, just not the most affordable.

Might run ya half that or more for the procharger.

Not sure what their final pricing would be. They do not have a website yet according to roommate.

"reasonably affordable" just means $5K is a baseline.
