Speaking of Booker's....the only bottle I have is Kitchen Table (2018-4 I think?) based on your recommendation vs Theresa's Batch.

So, Country Ham is all over right now, worth picking it up you think? I guess I mean, is it different enough from Kitchen Table to make it worth while?

Shiny Barrel and Country Ham are two batches that most felt like a return to the Booker's profile of a few years ago and I really enjoy them both. We're obviously talking about a narrow window of profiles, here, but those two are stronger on the oak, peanut, and spices angle than most of 2018 + 2019-01. The sweetness is more the caramel variety than the dried dark fruit. I'd definitely say it's worth picking up!

No report on Beatin' Biscuits, yet. I just got my bottle and haven't opened it.

I understand running out of room and am in the same boat. I just need to stop buying for awhile and drink more. I keep seeing Country Ham and am tempted, but have dozens of unopened bottles to get to.

Artists blend is also my pick between that and the Glasgow. Agree about blends vs single malts - if it tastes good I'll drink it! Monkey Shoulder is another affordable blend I think is a good blend.

Clicked the link to your "build thread" and am Watching it. I'll go through and read from the start once I'm done with work.

I stumbled across the Cedar Ridge at Grocery Outlet for $19. Not bad for the low proof. Not sure it's worth $40 as Total Wine has it priced next door.20191212_171542.jpg

I've been seeing this stuff show up in Instagram and have been hoping to find some in my area if town. Yesterday I got lucky. I am going to wait for Christmas to open it so I can enjoy it with my dad and brother. But I couldn't wait to get home so I had to take a picture of it in my truck. :D 20191213_113257.jpg

I really enjoy it. It’s different from the regular yearly release but in a good way because it is barrel proof. I received it as a gift from my wife and haven’t seen any in the wild since.
