3/8 cordless for general use I would go with the M12 Stubby, it's 250 ft/lbs. It can even take off lugnuts as long as they torqued properly. In a junkyard that may not be the case. The M12 Stubby is a beast & it's small & lightweight.

Again 3/8" Mid Torque is overkill IMO, 450-600 ft/lbs using 3/8 sockets doesn't make sense to me for automotive stuff. But if you just want one gun that does most everything thing then it may be the right gun. That kind of power is best for use with 1/2 sockets.

If I was just going to just get a cordless impact only & wasn't on the M18 platform I'd get the IR cordless impact. They're nice cause the handle is tilted unlike Milwaukee. Cause Milwaukee Impacts are straight the battery can get in the way sometimes & may need to use an extension. The M12 stubby has a tilted handle though. I didn't get it cause I didn't want to invest in the M12 line but that has kind of changed now. Plus I think it looks funny but whatever.

I have the M12 3/8" Fuel ratchet. It's ok bit too damn bulky. I would have went with another brand if I wasnxt on the Milwaukee platform. The older non-Fuel was a better size.

I thought that explosion was from a mechanic dropping a 1” drive socket and it puncturing the Hydrazine fuel cells. Something like that.

There’s a few channels on YouTube dedicated to excavating the Titan II and turning them into homes. I got my light from this guy. My fixture was on one of the levels in the Launch Control Center, underwater for 32 years.

Here’s another guy further along into the renovations. He’s a few miles from the first guy in Arkansas.

Yes. It was due to the socket being dropped. I think it was so hot that his hands were sweaty and he couldn't hold onto the wrench. Makes you wonder how many sockets or tools were dropped that didn't cause an explosion.

17 years old... both are being replaced. The new ones have quite a bit more tension than the originals.

is there a tool to measure that tension? when i changed my upper radiator hose this summer i put the 22+ year old clamps back on because they seemed to clamp the hose tight enough. I had the new black ones from camelback on hand just in case my silverish ones were shot
