    Look, I'm not being a Scrooge or a Grinch. The reason I have a problem with Christmas gift-giving is that it used to be a sincere gesture given from the heart. Now, it is practically mandatory that if someone gives you a gift, you are, for all practical purposes, obligated to reciprocate. If you don't then your a loser or a cheapskate. If you don't give a gift in return, your the Bad Guy.
