BajaDesigns S1 installed on CaliRaised brackets. Hacked up the wiring harness that came with them to reassemble to work with my aux fuse block and switches.

I was considering buying plugs from Amazon, until I watched a video on YouTube about knock-off NGK Iridium plugs that were sold on Amazon. No thank you, I'll pay a bit extra at the parts store to make sure I'm getting the real deal.

 

So if I got a shell and set it up like that do you think I could get laurel to jump in with me???

Just wired them this morning, no night usage yet, but by the blast my eyeball took when I first tested them, they'll do the job quite well.

S1 ditch lights wired, 100w halogen bulb upgrade completed in the grill (from a 55w Nightbreaker), a KC G4 amber fogs replaced the Morimoto xb which will be for sale soon as I clean them up.

 

Whats the sizing on the backside? Baja hasn't released dimensions but they claim you could mount them in a 1" hole saw hole....i find it hard to believe they could be that small and put out almost as much light as the s2 pros.

 

Got my new wheels & tires mounted last night! A little to much stock chrome on my Limited for my taste, slowly changing some out.

-Wheels: Picked up a set of the 16” Black TRD faux bead locks during Toyota’s Black Friday sale. Not sure if I’ll leave the rings off & plug the bolt holes or maybe powder coat them to match the rims

-Tires: Cooper AT3-4S, 265/70-16 from Discount Tire. Love them so far, actually think they look better the pics on online.

-Also removed the chrome tube steps & gona put some black Herculiner on them.

Installed a bluesea charging port, cleaned up my switches with the delcity scion style ones, and hardwired my gps with a fuse tap. If I had to do it again, I would just use a usb socket in the 12v part. Getting the 12v socket out was a pain!

 

Idk if you've applied Herculiner before or not... your steps will need a little less than 1 quart, $19 at Autozone. For steps I would get 3 of these brushes

I applied most of the Herculiner with these

and they worked really well.
Herculiner recommends 2 coats. The first coat looks like crap - let it. Thinner is better than thicker per coat. I got it way too thick in some areas. Stir the contents often being sure to dig up what falls to the bottom of the can. The more the weather is humid the quicker Herculiner will cure.

The most difficult part of the job is getting the Herculiner can open and trying to reseal it because it's a sob...
